Corserva has completed installation of a new 911 video wall system for the Orlando Police Department Communications Division. The new video wall fosters situational awareness and enables 911 operators to easily collaborate during an event. With this system, operational information can be shared from weather reports, news channels, video surveillance, maps, dispatch systems, and a host of other feeds. Operators can leverage real-time digital mapping to view the locations of 911 calls, traffic incidents, and emergency responders on a live map of the city.
The video wall is approximately 15 feet x 10 feet and consists of twelve 55-inch LED display monitors, centrally controlled. The view can be completely customized multiple times throughout the day in response to dynamic events, from individual views shown on each monitor to larger views shown across more than one monitor all the way up to a single view shown on the entire video wall.
"This installation is a great example of the fulfillment of our City’s mission to enable minority firms to participate in contract opportunities with the City of Orlando. Our City’s Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise Program seeks methods to support minority firms as a way of fostering business development and expansion for Orlando."
— Buddy Dyer, Mayor, City of Orlando
